Opera 6.01

Just started using Opera 6.01 instead of explorer on the point 510(no linux yet, running Win98).

It seems much faster than IE and makes the point very usable for surfing. Still have to cut and past from the writing palette to fill in forms and search boxes so if anyone knows how to get the pen services to “see” these, please let me know.

Ray,

I ended up putting the keyboard into startup so it's in the tray ready to go. Seems to work everywhere.

Do you get the keyboard popup button next to each of the boxes or do you just put your cursor in the box and then open the keyboard?

Thanks,

Ray

You won't get the "A" box in the forms with Opera 6.01. I wrote Opera an Email regarding this and they said that they'd look into it.... but I'm not expecting much.

I also keep the CIC keyboard in the taskbar and just pop it up when I need to enter text (like now). Works very well for me.... and I rarely use the handwriting recognition.
