:( I ordered the 32Mb memory from laptop mania two weeks ago. Email confirmation came in the next day, and my card got charged 3/21. Then, nothing. I called and had to leave a message-no reply. I sent three emails, I received read receipts of each of them, but no reply. I called again, no reply.

I guess I'm going to have to get the charges reversed. Buyer beware of LaptopMania.com

Their sales manager finally got back to me, telling me it had been backordered and would ship tomorrow. I'm still skeptical, but we'll see what happens.

I just talked to RecycleSave@aol.com , and he says he's got plenty of 32MB for the 510 and ships same day. ;)

Wanderer:

I thought you WERE RecyclySave@AOL.com? That is what you put at the bottom of all your posts at least and that is sure the way it reads in your memory for sale thread. So did you talk to yourself to find out that you had them ready to ship? Its a bad sign when you start refering to yourself in the third person

Well LaptopMania FINALLY shipped a memory module to me last weekend. It was the WRONG ONE- I ordered a 32 MB and they sent a 16 MB, but at least it got sent, right? All it took was 3 weeks, 7 email requests for information, 3 urgent voicemail messages, and 1 fax.

I wouln't suggest anyone ever deal with laptopmania. Ever.

Same thing happened to me. They then sent a 32MB but it was defective. I sent it back and I'm still waiting.

Definitely not worth it trying to deal with LaptopMania, they have not returned any of the emails I sent. They seem to have no intention of responding, even after 6 months.
