I found a Fujitsu auto adapter model #D14L-6002-0028 that puts out 12v and 3a. The label says "For Fujitsu printer use only". Has anyone tried to adapt this device so that it will safely run a 1200? The voltage and current seem right, and the price ($2) is certainly attractive.
The 1200 takes 16 volts. I picked up a cigarette lighter DC to AC inverter at the computer store for about $20 so I can plug in my cell phone or laptop or anything I get.
