He currently has the money for 36 Point 510s from the group buy I organized. Now I have found out he has switched accounts with Paypal and still doing business. He did respond, but said Paypal took back all the money from him. But until he contacts Paypal, they are not going to do anything about it. I might have believed Lars, but when I found out about the account switch I started thinking he's up to something. He was quick to post about selling units, but has been completely absent from the board since some of the questions began. It may be that he doesn't have all the units available, since he recently shipped a large group buy to the UK and is now trying to find more while he has our money in hand and we wait. A reply to the board would go a long way towards salvaging what little reputation he has remaining, but he appears to want to bury his head in the sand. PayPal probably locked down his account after he got a few complaints and requests for refunds, so he can't access whatever funds he may have there. PayPal is an OK service for buyers to send funds, but I would never use it for a merchant account with a large volume of money due to their strange policies. They are in the midst of several class action lawsuits regarding their business practices, and may be closed down from conducting business in some states for regulatory violations. Lars did not reply to my emails etc, but after I contacted the Alberta Better Business Bureau (BBB), things moved very fast. They contacted Lars Olson and a couple of days later, my goods were shipped.
