I hate to burst your bubble, but these arent going to go for $50. They have a reserve and the buy-it-now price is $275; they are likely to go for at least $225. I paid about $125 for my 510, and it was guaranteed to have a good battery. Paying 50% more for an additional 20MHZ doesnt sound like that great a deal.
The 1200 is a lot more than an "additional 20Mhz". In that realm alone the jump from the 586 to the penitum is huge.
There have been comparisons done here previously, but the USB support itself is worth it IMO.
That said, I don't understand why the 1200's and the 510's are going up in price. I got my color 12 about 6-8 months ago for $100 plus I think about $15 shipping.
They must be going up in price because they are harder to find, is there any place that sells 1200s for under $250 with color that you know of? I'd like to find another one for a good price.
