In reply to the negative post regarding our pen availability: We have 150 units and only 10 pens. In order to be consistent with our accounting, inventory and advertising, it is better for us to sell this way. Just because we are a company does not mean that we're "out to get" customers in any way. We take pride in our sales, quality and service. Our eBay feedback (jksalesinc) reflects this.

You should be able to find the "AAAA" batteries at Radio Shack or a camera store.
Durcell 9V batteries are build around six AAAA batteries, breaking the case apart yeilds six batteries usable in the ST1000/2300 pen. Not all
9V bats are built the same, only Duracell is known, for sure, to be
this way but others may have similar construction.
