Granny, what are you doing, building a video wall? Wanna sell one of those port replicators?

No sh*t!!!!!! Hubby says I'm not stupid ....just crazy (blonde too). I imagine I'll be selling at least one. Want to test them first. You want dibs on first one to go? I'm going to use the monocrome units, mounted outside, in harsh condition cases, purchased or homemade, to monitor our surveilence system. That is when I can make the time to separate out all the 2.4 GHz range signals bouncing around all over the place. Plan on powering a couple or more with some spare small solar panels and batteries similar to solar security flood lights or fence chargers.

So far to go, so little time...

Yeah, I'd like to have a shot at the replicator. I'm mostly interested in the USB setup, as I know the USB controller for the Stylistic is onboard the unit itself, and the replicator may only add the wiring and maybe some simple electronics, but no chips or anything.

Granny,

I could use a floppy drive and replicator if you can spare them.

Oh, a floppy might be nice too. Granny, if you can pop open the replicator and take some shots of the internals, especially the USB area, that could be useful.

On the replicator front, I'm still looking into a group purchase, but right now the price is around $138 + shipping per replicator and we'd have to buy 50. Still looking, will report back, please no "I'll take one" just yet, that price is high for my tastes, especially if I can hack a USB port onto the unit itself.

Greenspark,

Check the other thread, Accesories for 1200, you can pick up the port replicators for $58 and some odd sense for 10 or more, or $75 for a single. I'm sure you would locate this on your own, but just wanted to point it out to save the money.

Someone trying to save me money is not something to apologize for. Thanks.

Anybody know how big this port replicator is? I was wondering if it was small enough just to leave on the system while still being portable.

Peace,
