Well, after a lot of tries and frustration, I got the Linksys Network PC Card WPC11 ver. 3.0 to work on my 1200. I can now walk around the house, even sit on the toilet or go out into the yard and be on the internet. Yippeee! My 1200 only has Windows 95 b. so I was sweating it when at first it didn't work, but, after about 45 minutes and lots of attempts it worked!

Glad to hear you got it working. What problems where you having? I installed an Orinoco Gold card with out any problems. I placed the drivers on a CF card and placed the CF card in to a CF to PCMCIA adaptor in to the 1200. This worked for Windows95, 98 and ME.

Also did the same thing for my 500 :) (windows 95)

It is kinda cool. The resolution is low (640x480) but you get used to scrolling.

Hi jayklm,

I installed the drivers just as the instructions stated. Then inserted the PCMCIA card. When I clicked on my IE icon it did not work. It kept getting the "cannot find server" message. I then read the manual that's included on the install CD and it stated check My Computer --> Properties --> Drivers and sure enough there was an exclamation mark over the wireless card. Drats a conflict somewhere! I went back to the install disk and kept uninstalling , re-installing. After a few times doing this, something clicked, I got a beep from the 1200 and a green TV looking icon appeared in the task bar. I'm not sure what finally did it, but, I'm very happy now.

As a side note. If I couldn't get the mobile internet surfing to work, I was going to use it to load Microsoft Money on it. I was always hesitant to load Money onto a computer with internet access and thought a stand alone non-internet capable computer was the way to go. Maybe I should look into another pen tablet.
