after seeing a stylistic 1200 on ebay and faling in lust with it, I had to have one to pay with. Ive had it for a week now and love it. got some queations though

I installed tweakui, and got it set not to do scandisk if its shutdown improerly, because the pen doesnt work under dos, though it dos the bios, and I dont want to hook a keyboard to it, so how do i get pento work in dos?

I bought a wireless kit, a us robotics consisting of a pcmcia wireles 80211b card, and a pci adapter and another card. at this time I thoughtit would be nice to be able to install one of the pcmcia wirelss cards in my thinkpad, which is hooked to my linksys router, thorugh the interneal eithernet card, and access my home network via the wireless card. I then installed the wirelss card in the stylistic 1200, it looks ok the configuration icon is gree, and each card recieves data frm the other, but the sytlistic does not apear on my home network or thinkpad, and the sytlistic cannot see any computers including itself, though at one point it ded see only itself, but Im not sure how itlost that. any help or guidance form the experts out there would be most apreciated.
thanks in advance

Ok. First of all I have used a Dlink DWL-650 with win98, and now a Orinoco Gold clone (Dell TrueMobile 1150) with win98SE. (on a Dlink router/switch with about 6 wired computers and 3 wireless ones)

So....

Put NetBios on all your machines to make networking easier.

See if you are able to access the Router (AP) with your Fuji...ensure good signal, correct ID etc. Try to access the router admin setup with the fuji.

If all that works then the wireless portion of the Fuji works. (if that doesn't work, then it is a driver or setup, or client program problem)

You must share something to see the computer on the network (sometimes)

If your other computers are running XP or 2k then you will really want netbios on all the computers

If you have a firewall, then make sure it isn't blocking the network.

I could go on and on...but start with the simple steps. I use wireless on the fuji all the time, I administer the fuji installed in my truck using the wireless network.
