Ok.
I've managed this weekend to completely reinstall both my 1200 and 2300.
I've been wanting to get the 2300 done for a long time, it still had the original 98 on it from when I bought it,
I was afraid to try a reinstall because I didn't have the proper drivers.
But, after getting a great collection of drivers/utils, I gave it a shot.
On the 1200, I needed:
ess95.exe (from 95drivers.zip)
I replaced the audio drivers that 98 installed because of control issues with the '98 version.
Pen services (from Penservices2.zip)
CIC 5 from cicHandwrite5.zip
There wasn't a need for an actual pen driver, seems it was inside penservices2.
I also grabbed the 1200 BIOS upgrade from fujitsu.com (current is 1.11, I had 1.08)
One odd thing with the install, while 98 was installing I had my PS2 mouse off the port replicator,
but as soon as windows was running for real, it stopped and never went again. (I used a USB mouse after
the initial install)
On the 2300, I needed:
video.zip Windows couldn't figure out what video card was in the machine.
audio.zip Again I wanted to put the tablet specific version of the drivers in.
modem.zip
Fpsipen.zip Seems the tablet itself is device needing a driver on the 2300.
penserv.zip
Cichrs5.zip
At this point, the 2300 was perfectly functional and when I got the Margi card installed, it played DVDs through the speakers with no troubles.
