I'm working on my 2300 now that I can reinstall without fear of losing my drivers.
A problem I've had since I got it was max RAM.
I was told it could take a 128 Meg Ram module and I bought one from someone on the Net who said it was for a 2300
(not that I knew it took normal SODIMM modules)
It only goes up to 96 Meg of RAM, and I've tried other 128 Meg modules from my laptop and no difference.
Anyone know why this might be? Are there different versions of the 2300? Is the RAM special?
Oh, what's the latest BIOS available for the 2300?

Just received a DM50 143-2 from datamem and it's only reading half on all three of my 2300s. Dunno if it's the wrong part or if something is wrong with mine, they all have the latest BIOS.
