I just got a 1200 from pieces on Ebay (case in one auction and Motherboard in another) and there's some pieces missing.
The main piece I need is a ribbon cable that connects the motherboard to a PC card mounted in the case.
Not sure if either of the auctions should've included it, as the cable could be argued to be part of either bit of the machine, or neither.
The 1200 is working fine, except for the tablet itself. I'm getting a 'pen not initialized' message out of the BIOS. Anyone happen to know
if the missing cable interfaces with the tablet itself?
Now, the pieces I'm needing:
power switch
power button
HD bracket
RAM door
HD door
It'd be nice to have the RAM and HD door, to just cover those bits up, I can probably do without the HD bracket.
(all the port doors are missing too, but that's almost expected with these :) )
Oh, if anyone happens to know what size all those tiny little screws are, I'd love to know. I don't have any of them.
It seems to be installing Win98SE just fine though. (port replicators are great things :)
