If anyone is interested I just picked up a 64 meg RAM module that works perfectly in my Stylistic 1200 for $14.00, which included 2 day Fed Ex shipping. I think it will cost $15.50 if you have it delivered to a residence instead of a business though. Thought this was a great deal.

Apparently the memory for certain Fujitsu Lifebooks works in the Stylistic 1200 as well:

Fujitsu Lifebook 420D,435DX,520D,520T,530T,531Tx,535T,535Tx,555T,555TX,556Tx

I went to PriceWatch.com and looked up memory for these systems, and purchased one from Kahlon. In order to get that price I had to click on the Buy Now! option on the PriceWatch page and let Kahlon put a cookie on system, if you don't the price shows up as $19.00 plus you probably have to pay for shipping. As of 4/29/03 it is still available.

I have actually read on the net that any 144 pin SODIMM RAM module will work in the Stylistic 1200, but I never confirmed this.

Going from 32 megs to 80 megs really seems to speed up everything on the computer.

Your mileage may vary with part #KFUJCE4. I ordered it from the above link for $23 (price had gone up). When I installed it, the system memory count only registered as 72mb. I went into the BIOS, saved and exited and it still read 72mb. Windows 98 would also not boot into normal mode (hung). I could boot into safe mode however, which also displayed 72mb. Finally, I decided to order memory specified for the Stylistic 1200 and found http://www.kahlon.com/rn12837_Fujitsu_Stylistic_1200.html had the best price at $27 and shipping is still free but it is USPS slow.

So far the new memory is working great.

I am French.
I followed your advice and bought at Kahlon 64 mb memory few minutes ago.
I hope all will be good : reception and compatibility of the memory for my stylistic 1200 with 32 mo now.
Have you some information in order to find reader of floppy.
I bought my st1200 on ebay (france) and i would like to test Freebsd and Nt4.

I received this day the memory and effectively, i have 80 mo now.

I would like to know if it is possible to change the hard disk (2.5 go) in order to put a bigger ?
What are the biggest hard disk possible with st1200 which is compatible with fat or fat32 and w95, w98 or nt4 ?
