I'm wondering if anyone has any good leads for software that functions as a sketch pad or notetaking program for a 1200. I've scoured this board, and I can't really find much. I'm looking for something that I can mix and handwriting to text with sketches (in the spirit of Microsoft's new tablet pc push). Can this be done on the 1200? Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm running 98SE with 80MB of RAM and a 2.1GB HDD.
If you play with the buttons on Wordpad you might be surprised at what it can do! MSWord along with PenOffice seems to work OK on the 1200. Take a trip to http://groups.google.com/groups?q=comp.sys.pen&ie=ISO-8859-1&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search and look for user William F. Adams -- he appears to have tried everything, and seems congenial enough.
go here and download the "Ink Manager software" . . . i think this is what someone posted a link to on here a few months ago. it was originally for the IBM Crosspad, but it is kickass note-taking software . . i think it is similar to that "microsoft journal" program or something.
