Not that there aren't already lots of places on the internet that have info and downloads for the early Stylistic computers... Yahoo groups have an advantage of webspace for file downloads (20 megs I think). You can also upload photos and you can get on the mailing list so new messages will be delivered to your inbox. They have some other nice features as well.
I want the group to deal with the earlier Fujitsu Stylistics. I figure anything with a Pentium I or earlier processor. Not sure if the group will take off or not but at least it will be one more place where people can download the files.
I use a Yahoo email address with the group, that way even if a spammer gets a hold of my email it's no big deal. You may want to use a Yahoo or Hotmail address to join too although it probably won't be a problem. I don't think email addresses are visible unless you join the group, which is the only way to access the files and messages as far as I know. You need to accept cookies from Yahoo to be able to use Groups.
I use a Yahoo group for the Progear 1050 pen tablet which I have found pretty helpful in the past- with the popularity and number of inexpensive Stylistics available I figure a new group has potential.
