according to the pin-out in the tech ref there is a +5V lead that switches on/off the speaker. i am trying to add audio-out and possibly audio-in without the port replicator. i do have a port replicator, but i don't want to use it with this unit. if i just unplug the speaker (which i'm doing anyway), do i really need to do anything with the +5V lead anyway? can i just jump that pin to a ground to complete a circuit for the same effect?
