I just got a stylistic 1000 on ebay, the bios is password protected and it also wants that password to boot :(
Fujitsu's website mentions a "break password" procedure the could guide you through over the phone but they don't do that anymore instead for "security purposes". Instead, they want you send the unit in and they'll reset it for a fee of $150.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know how to get rid of it? The battery looks like it's soldered, I tried removing the eprom chip from the back of the motherboard and that didn't work.... would removing the battery work then?
