well heres the good news. i am righting this post with my point 1600 the bad is that i need linux pen drivers for this sukker so ya
i have tried all of the point 510 drivers but none seem 2 work
spec: point 1600 runing vector linux
2.6.x? i not sure

Did you try the 1.01 driver from here:

I haven't actually installed X on my 1600 yet, so I haven't tried it, myself.

Since there's a kernel module involved, you'll need to build it against a kernel that's the same version running on the 1600, if you don't do it on the 1600, itself.

ya i tried it it gave me ERROR 1 when i complied it an an Invalid module format when i try to run it
