Getting gesture recognition working with Linux
Trynig to get xstroke and/or xscribble to work

I've installed both xstroke and xscribble on my 3400 with (deep breath) Slackware 10, Linux 2.6.9, X.org 6.8.1, Gnome 2.6 system software. Seems the gesture recognition part works great. Where it falls kinda flat is in the area of focus. Everytime I switch to gesture mode (from mouse mode) the focus stays on the xstroke (or xscribble) window so no text appears in the place I wanted it to go.

Has anybody gotten either xstroke or xscribble to work under Linux/X11? If so, HOW? I suspect it might be a Gnome thing and intend to try them both under FVWM(95), but I'm just so in love with Gnome!
