Hello !

I just got this nice working Fujitsu 1200 from company's surplus.
I never operated such machine but I think this is a very exciting tool !
However, this unit came without Stylus... After researching the net I realized these special pens might get sort of expensive !
So, I have a couple of questions, as follows:

a) Can I operate the Fujitsu 1200 using keyboard only and no Stylus ?
b) Can I use a regular mouse ?
c) Can I find aftermarket compatible Stylus or I need Fujitsu brand ?
d) Can I produce a power supply using market transformers ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks in advance !

Leandro:

a) yes
b) yes, serial
c) maybee, try Cross penabled pens
d) any wall transformer type power supply with minimum 16vdc, 2.7a (not too much above that) to Radio Shack "D" adaptaplug, center positive.

When you get it to work, come back here if you need drivers for the digitizer, etc.

have fun,

ebay always has parts...

Probably a good one to get would be the dock...or expansion...or whatever it is called now...essentially a port expander...plugs into the multi port at the bottom, and gives you a keyboard AND mouse port...and 2 USB ports among the usual things.

You can also get pens off ebay...but they are kind of flakey on the 1200...some had a screen jitter problem with the pens (when the machine warmed up)
