| yes, the 500 stylus will work, and they are alot cheaper. i use the 500 stylus with my 1200. it's lighter and smaller than the 1200 stylus. the batteries are expensive, unless you pick them up on eBay or something. some stores around here charge up to $10 for 1 of the batteries, yet online you can pick them up in bulk, 10 for $10 (US). the only downside is that it doesn't fit in the standard pen holder. i guess it will technically fit, but it won't stay held in.

Okay, I've been researching my options on the 1200 I just picked up ($25 canadian) and like many others I'm without stylus, not a huge issue but I'd still like to pick one up.
