I have created a PDF that shows how I made my own
hard drive caddy.

It is not for the faint of heart... you have to solder directly to the
motherboard. I have done it myself and it works perfectly.

Use this info at your own risk.

Thanks to Ashman for helping me figure out the caddy pinout.

Hi,
I cant bring up that pdf for the pin layout on the 1600. Could you maybe email it to me at bigjt225@aol.com ? I have one of them bad larrys but it has no caddy. I have an old dell cp caddy connector which beleive it or not connects and plugs in perfectly but it wont read the hard drive.
