1200 BIOS API Docs?

I want to write a Linux app that will allow the user to control contrast, backlighting, etc without the Fujitsu special keyboard.

The Technical Reference describes a Windoze DLL for doing this, and implies that there are BIOS calls behind it (although the DLL might be fiddling the hardware directly, since it's Win9x).

Does anyone know of a reference that describes that BIOS API (if it exists)?

Thanks,

Ran

If it's using PnP BIOS calls to do that magic, you're going to probably be in a world of pain if you want to try to make those calls. You'd minimally have to write a driver to do it, and then you'll probably have to deal with the problem of making 16-bit PnP BIOS calls with only a handful of registers. Since Linux does have code to make these kinds of calls, it might be possible, but certainly not easy.
