I was at the local surplus shop yesterday and just discovered these gems. They are like the Fujitsu Stylistics but with much better TFT active matrix screens. The owner offered it for $275 and had 6 left. I can get all six of them for $1200 ($200 each). I really want to get into hacking these, esp because of the possiblity of using the ZV port to play DVDs on the active matrix screen. I need six people to get in on the group buy and I can purchase these. First 6 people to reply. Here are the specs:
Intermec Norand Pen*Key 6622
AMD X5 processor at 133 MHz
Large 8.4" TFT active matrix color VGA display with up to 65,536 colors
touchscreen can be operated with either finger or stylus (analog resistive)
32MB RAM
1 GB hard drive
4Mb IrDAŽ communications
Integrated desktop stand, Sound Blaster PRO
Dual Battery Packs
Ports: 1 PS/2 for Keyboard, 1 Serial, 1 Parallel, 1 External Speaker Connection
The overall dimensions are much smaller than the stylistic
From what I can observe it uses same ram as the stylistic (EDO SODIMM) ofcourse couldn't get inside it =). It has integrated keypad on the right side of screen. The touchscreen works with my finger. Winamp runs fine.
