Appreciate the post! It reminds me of a shortcut that can be used in a project we are involved in trying to install Linux onto one of these puppies. However, I am in search of the proper distribution and (as you may know already the sources for) drivers. Can any one help? Particularly I'm thinking of you, the person posting this. You appear to be a savy linux guy for these. The stylistics are to be used by nonprofits in Africa, any help appreciated.

RE:I'm lazy, anyone have an XF86config? (modified 0 times)
I didn't figure out any of the linux details, they are all available at http://www.linuxslate.org. Setting up linux was pretty straight forward if you have another computer and a 2.5" to 3.5" ide adaptor, that is the route I took. I haven't really done anything else with the linux install lately since I have been out of town. I will get back to the neomagic issue and post if I get a good working xf86config. Any other specific problems with a linux install have probably already been answered, just check the other forum threads.
