I stumble on the forum a couple of months ago while looking for small board to run uclinux on. First Great job to prpplague on the cart. Immediately after seeing that hack I went looking for a jb. Found them at a local Meijer for 12.50. Purchased on to see if it was really what I was looking for. unfortunately I had to wait to tear into it as issues at work took up my time until last week.
Anyway it works just as I wanted it to.
Also purchased another one for the wife for mp3 use. for hers I have replaced the stock slot with a direct sd interface ala angel (Great work!). Here's where the question comes in. Her's is v 2.6 and will not play mp3 >128 But it will play a 1g card. The card is a sandisk card. SOOO has anyone tried anything over 1g to see if it works? Curious before I go and purchase a 2 or 4g.

SD cards greater than 1GB won't work, as 2GB and higher cards no longer have MMC/SPI support, in addition to implementing a new DRM style.

You might try to find a 2GB MMC card, as that should be the largest size capable of working (due to the need for FAT16 format). However, I've not heard of anyone trying a 2GB MMC with a JB.
