Very very quick, bootable FLASH cartridge (modified 0 times) bkgoodman Profile I noticed somwhere that the JuiceChip Media cartridges (Like you'd buy the crappy JB movies on) are just carts with an OTP NAND flash on it. I am assuming from extensive analisys (i.e. from my extensive 3-second glance at a low-res picture of the cart) that this NAND chip is a 48-TSSOP - of the standard footprint and pinout at a regular programable NAND FLASH. Has anyone concidered/tried just replacing the chip on the cart with a rewritable one, to use it for a boot device? Anyone have any of these carts to try it with? That would be nice, unfortunately the chip is a 32 pin TSOP (datasheet is on the JuiceWare wiki page). Searching last year couldn't find a pin compatible device to use.
