Has anyone figured out the video codec. I bought a couple of these a long time ago and wanted to play around with a new idea. I would like to use my useless juicebox players that have been collecting dust to play a short low frame rate/resolution video I made... Issue is I can't find anyone who has solved/figured out/hacked the encoding for these players. If you have a solution let me know, thanks
The codec is proprietary from what I've seen posted about it. If you're willing make a hack cartridge to boot Linux, you can apparently get low-resolution MPEG-1 videos to play.
I've not seen any directions or even pictures, just a post saying that it could. It is well within the capibility of the JuiceBox running Linux, so I have no reason to doubt it. You'll likely need to compile a player and add that to the image. Sorry I can't give more input into doing it.
