SDIO ?

I want to know if the SD socket is a SDIO socket so it could be possible to put an SD wifi card for a future hack.

As this is a low-cost media player targeted for the pre-teen to early teens, I would highly doubt it. However, I also have no idea how to find out if this is supported in the hardware, since there is so far no software to support it, AFAIK.

It doesn't even have real SD card support, so, no SDIO. Secondly, SD and SDIO are proprietary standards, it'd be quite hard to create an open source driver for SD/SDIO.
