In case anyone's been hunting for the power adapters or mp3 kits or is still looking to pick up a juicebox cheap, I noticed today that Toys 'R Us is having a 50% off sale on a lot of stuff including the juicebox and accessories. I picked up the power adapter for $5. The juicebox units would come to $25 and the mp3 kits would come to $20, Those aren't the lowest prices I've seen for them, but all the other stores that have been carrying them seem to be sold out by now.

Yes, KB's does have them for $25 on 'Green' friday But trust me, they are all the 'new' 2MB version. And they all come with Avril LAvigne or Turtles episode. Not worth it... But $25 for the MP3 adaptor and the unit is a good deal.

KB still has lots of these packages at the $25 "Best Value" price. At least 3 dozen in Austin's Highland Mall store. I was hoping they would start marking them down by now since they're not exactly jumping off the shelf. Still not a bad price for the package and it should be all you need for the cart mod. Right?

You'll need an XD card, but other than that, you're set for the linux cart mod.

My local K-Mart still has the Juiceboxes for $10 and the kits for $20.

The KB toys in the florida mall in orlando has an a whole shelf covered with the little devils. it's on the right when you walk in, far right, in the front most corner where nobody can see it. the one i bought was a grey 2mb version with two episodes of yugioh (or ugioh or whatever, it still sucks) one episode of ninja turtles (i prefere the origional), one mp3 kit with a knock-off sd card, and a cary case.

I just bought 2 JuiceBox Kits - the player, the MP3 Starter Kit, the head phones, carrying case, 3 cartridges each - for a total of $40.95 (that's TN state sales tax included). The kits were $24.95 each, but they were "orage tagged" for buy one - get one half off. So it was $37.48 before taxes. Not bad for 2 media players plus extras.

If you can find them at Toys'R Us, Juiceboxes are now $5.00 and the MP3 kits are $4.00.
