Using LCD in PC case mod

I havn't looked into this much, but while working last night I found out that I could get a Juicebox from my employer (Shopko) for under $10. Is it at all possible to use the LCD as a sort of status display for a PC (to display temps, current track in iTunes, etc.)?

Thats a similar idea I had as well. Kind of reminds me of the over expensive and as of yet non-existant Optimus mini-three http://www.artlebedev.com/portfolio/optimus-mini/

Would be sweet if we could link a few together to get them to perform similar functions. Thats totally beyond my ability though if its even possible :\

its totally do able, you can boot uclinux, so just set up the uart to receive info via rs-232 from the pc. the lcd itself would need a controller if you used it by itself.
