15 Juicebox Package

I was at KB Toys in Arundel Mills MD recently and they were selling kits for 15$.

They came with 1 juicebox, 1 soft case, 1 set of headphones for kids, 3 random cartridges, and 1 MP3 kit(software, SD card reader, SD card adapter, and 32MB SD Card).

After picking up a couple to hack apart and a couple for the kids, we liked the MP3 component enough(and the idea of making picture frames) that we went back and cleaned out the store(16 juiceboxes) to give out as gifts(stash the cartridges and give them out as cheap MP3 players for the under 10 relatives and cheap electronic projects for the over 10 relatives).

The clerk at that KB mentioned that all the KB stores in the Marland area are trying to unload the juiceboxes, so if your local to MD check em out(and perhaps nationally, no idea there)

Probably everyone who reads this board has all they need by now but was at a KB Toys today and found a different combo.
Rather than the generic white box this one looks more like official packaging (although it is put together by KB). This "Bonus Pack" even has a cutout in the front so you can see the color of the unit inside. They had red, blue, and gray.
You don't get as much stuff as you do with the white box; this deal has a Juicebox and 6 Juiceware chips for $14.99 and because it has an orange tag you can get any other orange tag item for half price. Two Juiceboxes and 12 carts. for a little over $22 is not too bad.

Oh, and SearsMart "green dotted" (half price clearance) their Mp3 kits down to $4 each.

Makes me wonder just how many b'jillion of these things Mattel made, apparently entirely on (incorrect) speculation. I'm sure the full story will appear in a mis-marketing text book one day;-p
