I saw some great hacks for this player, and giant tiger here is brampton Ontario Canada has the juice box for 20$. I was thinking of picking one up to hack around with, i do have a background in electronics and i am fairly good at soldering. Just a few questions, I see it plays video from the rom cartridges, is there a way to play video from the xd or mmc cards? Or is it currently just a picture/mp3 player. I have a mp3 player already and i am not to interested in doing a lot of hacking for just a picture viewer. What would be cool if you could run some emulators on it, like c64 one...Mule here i come! lol

You can't play video off SD card. In theory, you could play video off an XD card, but you would have to code or port a player, on your own, made for the device. If you have minor background in programming, you could probably port a simple emulator to it, if you're willing to go through all it takes to set up the Juice Box and compiliation environment.
