Just got 2 I-A's and i've been reading all the threads on the subject. What I would like to do with one of them is use it as a "front end" for an mp3 player. I'd store all the mp3's on a remote pc.I think I could load w98se on a cf.Then running winamp or something like it, access those files via the network (or usb?)from the I-A. Then send the audio out of the remote pc to my amp.Do any of you clever people have any ideas ?

thanks
Jerry

Jerry456,
What you are wanting to do works well. My IAone plays MP3s well via a USB HD connected directly to it, or over a network connection. I usually would play the music just through the internal speaker, but once, I did connect it up to my stereo system, and the sound that came out was fairly good.
Go ahead and install win98se on a CF (follow directions on this board if you need help) and install winamp and you are set.
