Well, It's up and running. Airmailed a 16$ refurb EA101C from Buy.com for 12$ (28$ cuz i couldn't wait) and the system boots like a charm. I'll image the device and write it out for others to use later...
What I need now is
a) how to get rid of the border or add VNC to the desktop...
b) Add an application that will display images from a windows share (so I'm guessing nfs mount?)
c) determine at what resolution / bit depth the display is at.
Help on any/all will be greatly appreciated.... soon I will free my LCD from it's ugly confines and place it into a nice wooden frame, complete with glass overlay and matting...
