Does anyone know a freeware/shareware keyboard utility that dsiplays exactly what key is being pressed on the keyboard? I want to figure out what all the extra keys on the IA-1 are and if I have a delete key :)

well - Win98 values are one thing; Linux actually gives you the keyboard scan codes when you press all the keyboard buttons it doesn't understand. i'm at work but i'll post what i've got at home, when i get there.

I tried one of the compaq easy access drivers, and it has remapped some of the keys (haven't determined which does what yet), but they all seem to just point to webpages though.

I'm bumping this hoping that someone has found a way to remap the volume keys to work in winamp? The internal speaker in this machine is much better than I expected and I think getting the volume keys to work would be a nice addition. (Windows 98)

compaq has some software someplace that should do that for you... or maybe the microcrap intelitype software... i'm at work now, but when i get home, i'll look around...

oh wait, i have that compaq presario here with me, letme check... ok, what we need is Compaq's "Easy Access Button Support" software.
