Howdy. I'm looking to get into my IA1 pretty soon, but I wonder if anyone can point me at a web page that outlines how to upgrade them to run 98 or linux? I see lots of mention in here about BIOS updates, CF-HDD adapters, and the like. Just wondering if someone's put together a nice step-by-step guide.

Actually, let me ask a little more. I have a microdrive, but I'd rather use that for my digicam than this. Is it possible to get a decent install (win98 or linux) on a 64MB CF card? Could I then use a USB disk drive? I'd like something that doesn't actually require hacking the box casing, plus I'd like it to look good. I have IDE drives at my disposal, so I figure I can pick up a USB HDD mount and plug in there. I also assume I can't boot from a USB drive.

Any thoughts?
