Booting via USB
Alternative boot methods

I have a usb hard drive I purchased for backing up my gigs and gigs of data. Fortunately, I remembered to make a couple of partitions on it "just in case".

My question is, can I have the system boot from usb hd or floppy? Does it have to be compactflash?
