Hi everyone, I have 2 IA-1's on the way and I'm looking to add an IDE drive to one or both of them. The cost and availability of the CF to IDE adapter from Advantech being what they are, I'm wondering if it's possible to wire your own cable from the CF slot directly to the drive. I've seen several pin diagrams between the two interfaces (http://www.aemmenet.ch/Publikationen/CFtoIDEpinout.html for example) and, with a very steady hand, I'm sure I could wire one. The question is will it work? Can it really be as simple as connecting the dots?
