Does any one know where to get some of the 80 pin connectors they use on the sandisk?
Has any one taken the sandisk off and jumped from its IDE controller to a harddrive?
I am new to this but am VERY curios!!!
Unfortunately, I don't think anyone has found one. If this were possible, then it sure would make a huge difference. The cost of such a thing (if not many people make them - which I would imagine) would be prohibitive. As soon as someone comes across something that lets us do this, then I won't have to use my microdrive anymore - it makes the IA-1 even hotter.
If you mean a compact flash connector or rather information for making a card, I have seen them on this website FCI Connect - Compact Flash. I don't know how much they cost though. Their main website is at http://www.fciconnect.com/catalog/catalog.asp. This infomation is from a post I read from ranman.
