Hello,

Newbie here

A friend and myself have just ordered the IA-1 .... Yep were newbies.

Does the dlink 650TX USB adpater work with version 2 of the MSN OS?

I have read lots of threads and am still confused.

I just got mine yesterday. I went home and hooked up a dlink usb nic. worked right out of the box. But I'm not sure which version it was 650 or 650tx... I'll check when I get home

Well,

A call to compaq tech support and they tell me the dsb-650TX is supported.

But only on version 2 of the MSN O/S

So i update to version 2 and still unsupported error when pluggin in the dlink.

A call to MSN tech support and they are CLUELESS.

Please somebody, does the dlink DSB-650TX work with the IA-1 and MSN 2.0 O/S????????????????????

Oh,

Compaq tech support told me to re-download/update the device and see if it would work.

I am doing that now.

Anybody?

You really ought to check out some of the other threads...

However, I do have a DSB-650Tx that works w/ both Jailbait and MSN v2.0
It seems that Dlink changed the chipset on the adapter, and so only some
of them work w/o modification.
