lcd brightness broken on arrival.... i have taken the front plate off to make sure that the buttons were actually being pressed and they are.. so it appears that the brightness keys on the lcd dont work.. anyone know a fix that is possible?
i got win98se lite installed but cant seem to find any gamma controls.. im trying everything.. its a little brighter than i want it.. anyone have any suggestions?
I take that back. The brightness control does change the brightness, but only very slightly, and only in about 8 levels. Holding down the buttons doesn't work; I have to release and press a button again for each level of brightness. (The range is so small that this control is practically useless.)
