| OK after about 1000 reboots, and disabling and removing and reinstalling and reinserting and even more reboots, I have what is almost a perfect Win98 install on an IBM 340MB microdrive. I have sound working in 16bit color using the CyberBlade i7 drivers, the Sound is working using the AC'967 Apollo drivers, USB ethernet and USB intellimouse explorer wireless, and I even have ACPI working (had to disable all of the PCI IRQ steering to get it to boot successfully) and I installed the 4in1 VIA drivers and have bus-mastered IDE working. It is very snappy. Much faster boot than my I-Opener.
There is just one thing not working 100%..
In the control panel, under power management, I have selected that when you press the power button it should go into "standby".. but when I press it, the unit completely powers off instead. Has anyone been able to get around this? | |
