I got one of the $99 IA-1's from TD, and I'm pretty impressed with the potential I've seen (Thanks to the fellas who posted the info on how to make the D-Link DSB-650TX adaptor work, btw). I bought this unit as a gift for my mom, who's slightly techno-phobic, to say the least. I don't think I'll be able to sell her on Jailbait, insofar as her computer experience consists of hearing me talk about them. However, I've corresponded briefly with Be (right before their site was taken down), and they tell me that the AI-1 was the original platform that their BeIA software was designed for. Does anyone know the story on this? If I could load BeIA onto this unit, I'm hoping that it would be easy enough to use for a novice, and still let me escape the Borg. Thoughts? --
