CF Limitations

I remember reading a thread about the limitations of the CF slot on the iPaq. Does anyone know for sure if this is hardware related or is it simply an OS/Driver issue? The reason I ask is that the CE image built with MS Platform Builder 3 contains the driver for the Xircom CF Network device. I would like to purchase one of these and see if it will run with the image I have created but I do not want to waste money. Any thoughts?

here's an evil thought, buy it from crapusa and if it does not work return it... to avoid open box fees, go to a local video store and ask them nicely to shrink wrap it for you

or you could simply but it, try it, if it does not work, return it and tell them it did not work and you want a refund...
