well the cheapest price on pricewatch.com is cititronics.com for the 340meg drive:
$138 + $8 shipping
cititronics.com gets a 7/7 rating on resellerratings.com with 5 people voting. If I had the money, that's where I'd get mine from.
Kingston has a closeout on a DATAPAK 260MB PC CARD TYPE II HARD DRIVE for $99 +shipping
Anyone know if this drive will work with the IA-1?
They also have closeout deals on 48MB and 192MB cards for $39 and $79 respectively.
I just ordered a 170 MB MicroDrive from http://www.d-store.com/. They are selling them for $70 + shipping (while supplies last etc.), including a PCMCIA adapter. The 340 MB drive costs more than twice as much.
