I know where there's a copy of some working images for the Compaq IA-1 on the web. I don't know if the chap who posted them would like the link published publically, but if you email me at rehankhwajaATyahooDOTcomNOSPAM, I'll send the link to you.

They didn't work on mine but I may be transferring the images wrongly. Has anyone had any success transferring a jailbait image using a SanDisk USB writer? It seems everybody I've heard of who's got it working used a PCMCIA adapter or something with an IDE interface.

I put jailbait on the sandisk, but it won't work and I don't know Linux enough to get it working.

Then I tried DOS and Arachne browser, but couldn't get mouse to work, either usb or ps2.

So, I think I'll put the original OS on and sell it.

I have another machine untouched and will try to get an image off that machine if anybody needs it. (emachines MSN Companion)

Curious,

I wasn't able to get jailbait to work either as I don't know enough about it.
I would appreciate it if you could get an image of the original OS off the other machine.
If you get it, please write here and I will send you my email address. Thanks.
