I just got my IA-1 about 2 weeks ago. I have been trying to get the damn thing open(apart?) ;p for since then. My problem is I could use brute force to break the case, but then where would I be. I belive I found all the screws on the outside, and also a few plastic snaps along the back and side. I can't seem to get the front part of the thing to come off though. Is there any more snaps or screws in the front that arent very visible? Not that most people need it, but has anyone taken the time to making a dis-assembly guide to the IA-1?-px
I had a similar problem to the one I think you are having - the two screws behind the screen simply hold a plate down which covers the hinges (four more screws) and cables. Once those two screws are removed, you can push the screen forward a little and then pry up that plate, revealing the hinges. It took me a few re-reads of all the instructions to learn that.Cade Roux
Thanks for the reply, I did some more digging, and found that on rasmus' page
(http://php2.chek.com/~rasmus/) he has a step by step, which I'm reading at the moment, while taking this mini-beast apart.
