How do I enable my USB hard drive?
I have an Archos Jukebox 6000

I've got an Archos Jukebox 6000, which is an mp3 player that doubles as a USB hard drive. To my PC, it appears like any other USB drive.

Proposal:
Boot the kernel off the internal flash and then put the rest of the OS on my USB drive.

However, I haven't gotten the system to recognize the drive at all yet. I've tried to set it up, but after reading through the posts here (I did try a search on these boards, and Google) I'm still at a loss as to what exactly to do.

I still want to be able to use the drive as an mp3 player; I figured I would eventually have to repartition it so that I could have dual functionality, but I would make an image of the drive beforehand in case things went Dreadfully Wrong(TM).

So, if someone could help me out on the steps needed to set this up, I would be grateful.

Thanks in advance!

All right, it appears that I need to enable "ISD-200" support in the kernel to use my Archos 6000.
Here's a page from someone who has used my particular drive with Linux: http://bjorn.haxx.se/isd200/

Could someone with a development system do that as a module, and send me the .o file?
Or, if there's already a module with this support in it that I can enable, illustrate how I can do this?

Thanks much..

G
