Turning the screen upside down?
Xwin question...

Is there any way to turn the Screen upside down using Xwindows settings? I'd like to bracket my IA-1 base under the kitchen cabinet, with a fold down screen and a USB mouse/keyboard it'd be PERFECT, but I know actually turning the screen hardware itself upside down is out of the question...

I don't have the answer.... but wanna give you a bump since I think its a good one! Also, you'll wanna consider that it will change the heat dynamics - probably a moot point if you've already swapped out the passive heatsink...

apprently XFree86 4.0.1 is supposed to support portrait mode for pda's etc. maybe thats a good start?

this thread talks about this, but says we need driver support...

I just mentioned that option in another thread. It may not be what you want though since it sounds to me like it rotates the screen 90 degrees (if it works at all with that video driver).
